The HK 3490 (suggested retail price: $499) isn't your father's receiver. It's filled with features that make it right at home in 2009. The Harmon Kardon HK 3490 receiver lives up to its reputation for excellent audio products. I am an audio-nut and I would not own a majority of rapid fire manufactured audio equipment on the market today. Harman Kardon is mass produced, but it still maintains its individual zest for craftsmanship. I recently bought the HK 3490 A/V receiver on sale for $336. I purchased this receiver for MUSIC. So if you are looking for something to serve as home entertainment this review will not help. This is actually the third receiver I tried for this purpose and despite being the cheapest it is by far the best (and the only one I kept). Lyssnar mycket på både stereomusik och tittar på filmer med 5.1. 5.1 lämnar jag därhän tills vidare men var inte riktigt tillfreds med stereosoundet här hemma så därför beställde jag en HK 3490 en tidig torsdagsmorgon och fick den dagen efter från inwarehouse.se. Nu har jag använt den här 3490:n i ett par veckor och jag är otroligt nöjd med den. Den har ett mjukt och behagligt ljud i alla register och det verkar som den trivs ihop med mina Dynavoice M65. Okay i have had my H/K2600 for about 9 months now and Luv it!I have had no audio or video dropouts...I have done two updates on it for H/K website..I have been eyeing the H/K3490 for some time..and when J&R drop it for under $300..i couldn't pass it up..I got it in this week..I wanted a lil more power for two channel stereo..I am useing a Niles A/B Amp switch...for going between amps..it works great..People the H/K 3490 is a beast!. I purchased this to power a pair of Bose 901s. These speakers require a decent amount of power as well as a pre-amp in/out, both of which the HK3490 has.This thing looks and sounds great and it makes the 901s hum. I love the overall simplicity of this unit. Stereo sounds great and there are 2 simulated Dolby suround modes. My only complaints are as follows. This thing is 120 watts per channel per channel at 8 ohms per channel. I don't hear it and I have tried driving it with several components. It also is way less powerful that a kenwood rated at 50 watts per channel. The buttons on the remote stick. I FEEL RIPPED OFF. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

- I replaced a pioneer SX 750 with this; the SX750 is 55 watts per channel @ 8 Ohms.
