    Works great in my 4runner in the factory location. The shallow mounting depth mean no cutting, just a straight drop in. The 8" has its limitation and for what it is, it work and pounds as hard as I expected. It can accept a lot of RMS power for a 8". I don't expect to have any issues for many years down the road.     Huge sound is a small space. Pioneer hit this one out of the park. Installed in a .25 cu.ft. sealed enclosure for my truck and this thing sounds GREAT! Frequency not as low as some but in small areas its it's enough to kick you in the seat. Want some boom in a limited space; then just buy this thing. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

    If you are limited on mounting depth (and budget), Pioneer has provided a great solution. I'm using one of these drivers in a small sports car along with the Pioneer shallow sealed enclosure that is designed for this sub. I'm using it with a very high quality 200 watt amplifier and am crossing it over at about 70 hertz. It's a true sub that has respectable low frequency response and is very, very punchy.
