I bought this amp at a sony outlet store and i was very pleased with the product. I bought it cheaper there but i got more than my money's worth. So far it has worked great. It has a trendy look and packs some serious power. I hooked it up to 2 12' subs and boy do they make alarms go off!! Small design and fits anywhere. Easily installed by me. I purchased a XRONS car stereo, and the sound was very poor. I have a 944 with 10 speakers, so perhaps it overwhelmed the XRONS (though my old Kenwood sounded much much better). I've never purchased a car amp before, so I was not sure what to expect. Sony products have disappointed me lately, but the XM-4S has restored some of my faith in Sony. It was easy to hook up, takes up little space, does not draw a lot of power and stays pretty cool (and looks very cool as well). Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

Had a serious space constraint, small car (Honda Fit) but wanted/needed more power than any head unit can produce. Was pretty sure it would drive a pair of Focal Polyglass components, but wasn't sure that the other two channels (bridged) would drive the Infinity 10" sub. Read a ton of reviews before I made the purchase, most of which were favorable. This is a rock solid little amplifier. As with most electronic items if they are not dead out of the box then they usually will work for quite some time so I cannot comment on it's durability as it's only been in use for a month.
