The new EOS 5D Mark II may share essentially the same body and AF system as its predecessor, but almost everything else has changed. The sensor’s been boosted to 21.1 Megapixels, matching Canon’s flagship EOS 1Ds Mark III at a fraction of the price, the maximum sensitivity increased by three stops, continuous shooting accelerated from 3 to 3.9fps, the viewfinder coverage slightly broadened to 98%, and the screen greatly improved in size and detail to a 3in VGA model. Canon EOS 5D Mark ll on ammattikamera. Siihen soveltuvat ainoastaan Canonin kalliit EF-objektiivit, eivät edullisemmat EF-S. Runko on painava, varsinkin akkukahvan ja salaman kanssa pitkää teleobjektiivia käytettäessä. Runko on kestävää magnesiumseosta ja sääsuojattu. En silti lähtisi ilman sadehuppua kuvaamaan vihmovaan syysilmaan. Tällä kameralla otetaan täyden kennokoon kuvia 21 megapikselin resoluutiolla. Lue Lisää

I've been using a 5D Mark II since it's introduction back in late 2008. I preordered one as soon as it was available and have been using it since the beginning for wedding and portraits. I've used this camera along side the original 5D and 1Ds Mark II. I've also loaned a 1Ds Mark III on occasion. After extensive experience with this camera as well as lower end cameras and higher end cameras, my summary of the 5D Mark II is that they almost had a perfect camera. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

I've always wanted a full frame digital camera and when Newegg had this one for $150 off I went ahead and bought it. I've used FF film cameras before and miss it. I also have a 60D which though have it's merits there's no comparison with a FF camera. The battery is the same as the 60D so it'll save me from buying new type of batteries. - Expensive, but worth it. Heavy. Can't use EF-S lenses

I had been dreaming about a 5D2 for a least a year. As they were becoming scarce, I decided to bite the bullet and buy one. Bottom line: it is an amazing camera and the image quality makes up for some of it's short comings. My two main complaints (for a camera of this price point) are: 1.) old, slow, unacceptable AF - especially in low light. Yes the ISO performance is excellent, but the camera should have an AF worthy of that ISO capability. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
