Den nya Powershot S95 har intagit en topplats bland Canons dyraste kompaktkameror; bara G12 kostar mer. Och när man håller S95 i handen känns den speciell. Den är gediget byggd av metall, och ergonomin är bra trots det lilla formatet. En väldigt bra kamera för den som vill fördjupa sig inom foto, när steget till en systemkamera är för långt. Finns dock en väldigt stor risk att man "växer ur" den och börjar leta efter mer avancerade kameror efter ett år eller så. Det är lätt att lära sig nya funktioner och inställningar utan att behöva läsa i böcker eller manualer då den talar om vad varje funktion innebär och villka värden som behöver ställas in för varje val. If picture quality is your main only concern then buy a SLR. If you want something more portable, then a Compact is for you. Everthing is a balance between Size and Picture Quality In laymans terms there are 3 sizes of compacts - Shirt pocket, pants pocket(or belt pouch) and coat pocket/bag Are there better cameras than the S95 - yes. You could get a Canon G12 or one of the mini-SLR like Sony NEX etc but they are all bigger and more bulky. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
- You wont get a better pocket sized camera. Ideal for the enthuasist who does not want to lug their SLR about all the time.
- Short Battery life & Expensive if you are only going to shoot in AUTO

I bought this camera because I was going on a trip with my boyfriend and wanted to take great pictures. I was weary because every digital camera I've ever owned has been faulty, slow, and just took bad pictures. I did a lot of research and it came down to this camera and one other that was cheaper. I wound up going for this one despite the price because of its unique manual mode and very low aperture setting. Am I ever glad I did! Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

Batterilivslängd: 3 Bildkvalitet: 4 Hållbarhet: 4 Slog till på en S95 nu när S100 är lanserad - mycket kamera för pengarna var tanken. Är dock inte speciellt imponerad av bildkvalitet på höga ISO, som alla pratar sig varma för - sambons Fujifilm F11 är hästlängder bättre på alla ISO över 200.
