The Fujifilm FinePix S2950 is a pretty unique camera, as it gives you a big zoom lens at a relatively low price. However, for just a bit more cash you can pick up a much better camera, even if you have to make do with a 12x zoom (Canon SX130) or without a viewfinder (Olympus SP-610). The FinePix S2950 was added to Fujifilm's range of S-Series long-zoom range of bridge cameras in January 2011. If you are looking for a camera with a large amount of optical zoom, Fujifilm have plenty to offer. The new HS20 replaces the HS10 and has 30x optical zoom, and 16Mp EXR CMOS sensor. In the S range there is the S4000 with 30x optical zoom, the S3200 with 24x, the S1950, S1850, S1800 and S2800HD with 18x and lastly the S1730 and S1700 with 15x. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

Recieved this camera as a present from my girlfriend at Christmas. Handling: The camera feels remarking small in the hand considering its large lens, but it's not small enough to carry in your pocket. It is well built with rubber grips for your right hand's fingers and thumb. The buttons are conveniently laid out and easy to press. There are dedicated buttons for Face Detection, Continuous Shooting and the Electronic View Finder. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

A very good bridge camera with masses of features. Easy to use straight from the box and a well made piece of kit. Excellent picture quality and modes I am still learning to use. Battery drain is the only draw back but I am taking 750-800 shots a day. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
- This does exactly what I wanted from a bridge camera, all the features of an SLR in a compact format. Easy to use straight from the box.
- Have plenty of spare batteries as it goes through normal AA's very quickly.

I haven't owned the camera very long, so can't give a solid review of its performance, but I do have a warning for possible buyers. I have a tripod (a cheap one) that has fit 4 other cameras, but for some reason does not work with this one. If you are planning to use it on a tripod, I would bring your tripod with you to the store and make sure it fits. Not looking forward to having to shell out more money for a new tripod, but can't use this camera as planned until I do! Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

All good for tge proce you pay. Plenty of features you can play with but this is a cheap camera. Quality of pictures is acceptable, great zoom, noisy video. Low light is a real threat to quality. But then, what do you expect? If you want quality go for a more expensive camera. If you want value for money, nice set of features, then you shpuld not have a reason to complain with this camera.
