    Where this camera excels is with its optics - there's virtually no evidence of colour fringing or blooming in our test shots, which is practically unheard of for compacts, and it's a significant achievement indeed.     The DSC-V1 was a relatively compact camera, so it's clear the same can't be said of the DSC-V3, but curiously the increase in size has really only improved its usability. Normally I'm not a big fan of chunky cameras for the sake of it but the DSC-V3 strikes an imposing shape with a nice soft rubber hand grip and cool metal surfaces. Also it does look better in black.     When I first owned the Sony Cybershot V1 I immediately won first place in a local photo contest, with the V3 and its outstanding features I expect to achieve more, thank you very much Sony, V3 is a camera which I shall keep for a very long time. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

    First things first. All the good things written about the Sony Cybershot V3 camera are really good. I was looking for scaled down, "pro" quality camera with looks and feeling which enables very quick use in all situations. I am taking pictures mostly "on the run". My favourite sports and transportation devices are rollerblades and bicycles, so I need a camera close to my body (on the waist belt),light and compact.     I've had this beauty since December 2005 and amidst all the hoopla over newer and better(?) cameras, I still say that this Sony V3 is just about one of the best I've ever used and I've gone through a wide range from the (also classic) Minolta SRT-101 to the Nikon F3 to the new DSLRs like the Nikon D60. AF med lasermatning, extra blixtsko, ryms i fickan. Introducerades i slutet av 2004 för priset 8600 kr, hittade den på Pixmania för nästan halva priset i maj 2005.
