What do you get when you have thousands of Dragon ball Fans that want a game? Well, you get a game like this one. I understand the developer’s logic with this game and I can spell it out to you with one word; money. Just the Dragon Ball Z name on it will make it sell. It doesn’t take more than one howling child to get their parents to buy this game. Does that mean you should buy this for them? My answer is most definitely no. Notice them take up 1/2 the screen. The characters are displayed in the sprite based pseudo-3D graphics that the GBA is so famous for. The backgrounds for the fighting arenas are equally as attractive and feature locales from all corners of the Dragon Ball Z world. There's even an arena based inside the DBZ villain Majin Buu. It wouldn't be hard to expect that I tried to buy every DBZ game on every system that I owned. I usually like all the DBZ games I buy, but there were some that I can't stand. Dragonball Z: Taiketsu is the third title for the gameboy advance featuring the cast of Dragonball Z. However, unlike the previous 2 -the Legacy of Goku games which were RPGs - this one is a fighting game, in similar vein to Street Fighter or Tekken. The game is a fighting game, its like Street Fighter because its select a character and defeat opponents one by one until you get to the boss.
