    Grafiken pendlar mellan daterad och läcker. Det är lite av varje. Musiken berör mig inte nämnvärt. Jag antar att det kommer att generera en del hat, men så är det. Storyn är svår att känna speciellt mycket för. Varför vet jag inte, men den påverkar mig inte. Den finns där någonstans och hjälper mig fatta i vilken grotta eller skog jag bör piska oknytt härnäst.     There's no good explanation for why Final Fantasy V was never released on these shores in the first place because it surely would have been as well received as the other 16-bit games in the series. Be that as it may, consider this a clear-cut case of "better late than never."     • Abundance of random battles and the need to level up can feel a bit tedious, the dialogue tries too hard to be funny in a few spots.

    After many hours of playing the game you can only conclude that it’s still a highly recommendable RPG for fans of the genre. The gameplay is deep, complex and varied and the fights and the design more than worth it. Of course the presentation isn’t anymore top of the bill, but the inspired setting and quite fascinating story make up for a lot.
