    All told, Mario Party Advance is quite different from the Mario Party games we're familiar with on the N64 and GameCube. The majority of the minigames and play modes included with the GBA game are geared toward single-player play.     A storyline in a single-player board game? Doesn't sound like Mario Party to me, and it's not, in the classic sense at least. But dialogue and those Nintendo mini-games you've come to love make it worth playing anyway. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

    • Witty dialogue; entertaining in both short bursts and longer spurts; some awesome mini-games.
    • Some really pathetic mini-games; variation in difficulty can be annoying; multi-player.

    How many games does the tubby plumber and his dysfunctional friends need to star in, exactly? Not content with his burgeoning Soccer career, reviving his side scrolling glories and planning an unlikely future as the leader of a hip hop gang (probably), his family now want to own the party scene on the handheld and it's a Mario game too far that is interesting only in its stunning ability to bore the pants off even the most ardent Mariophile.     Is Mario Party Advance state of the art? No, it is not because some mini-games are stupid and/or dull (which is inevitable because of the amount) and the multiplayer part is, despite some efforts, not that of a party-animal. The sound and graphics do not really push the GBA to its extreme but there are games that do a lot worse, believe me. The single-player on the other hand, is elaborated quite well so if that is what you demand, you might want to buy it. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

    • good integration of mini-games, decent addictive factor for single player, Mario license is not abused
    • some mini-games suck, multiplayer has worst concept since "collection-of-scenes" porn movies
