    Pleasant but forgettable music and a good bit of digitized speech accent the game's attractive presentation, which helps make the whole experience more engaging. These superficial aspects of the game have held up quite well, and the underlying action can still be pretty fun, too.     That Tales of Phantasia should peek its head around the curtain of GBA gaming so late in the system's life with scarcely a ripple of applause seems immensely unfair. Had this game been released three or fours years ago, the ovation would have lasted for weeks, the far-reaching repercussions from its release sending shivers down so many Super Nintendo developers' now crooked backs.     Those that love the "Tales of"-series will no doubt have several hours of fun with and also lovers of Japanese RPG's will appreciate this title as in the end everything nicely fits together.     In conclusion Tales of Phantasia is a decent game. It’s certainly not going to win any awards, but it’s nice for Western gamers to finally get a chance to see what all the fuss is about. For old-school gaming fans, or people that would like to have an SNES nostalgia trip, it comes recommended.     A breeze drawn from the northwest brings with it a hint of smoke. Disregarding it, you and your friend continue to stalk your prey: a gigantic boar that is rumored to be in the western depths of a purportedly magical forest.     • -Story is pretty enjoyable -Characters are nice. -Gameplay is pretty fun.
    • -Pretty bad translation. -Gameplay is a little slow. -Graphics aren't anything special.
