   There’s no questioning the build quality of the Manfrotto 303SPH – it has a solid aluminium construction that is big and heavy at a whopping 2kg! It attaches as a complete head unit to a tripod’s 3/8in mounting screw, making it incredibly sturdy. There are a few nice little touches, like release buttons so the sliders don’t easily slip out, an adjustment screw to set the rotation interval which is secured to the head so you don’t lose it, and places to store...    After the initial headscratching when trying to work out which way to set it up on the tripod and aligning the lens, this tripod head works exceptionally well.<br />It is sturdy and well made and will stand the test of time, I'm sure.<br />Defining the nodal point is a little challenging to begin with - but if your organised and make notes on your lens position settings then future sets ups can be achieved with relative ease.
