   The Canon EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS may be somewhat better than the EF-S 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 IS but it's not exactly a good lens either. The resolution makes a rather wild roller coaster ride through the different quality levels. Large aperture settings should be generally avoided at 18mm and beyond the middle range - the borders/corners are plain soft here.    It's also a sensible move for Canon to introduce what's effectively its first intermediate EF-S kit lens.    This is a great lens to have on a camera at all times. Specialty lenses like telephoto, macro and wide angle have their place but this lens is great for 90% of the pictures you will take. It comes standard with the 60D (smart choice canon!) but if you are looking for an all around lens at a good value you can’t go wrong here. Image Stabilizing works very well and have kept my panning shots very crisp. And with an f/3.5-5.6 you can capture great images in very low light. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   Köpte objektivet begagnat (nästan oanvänt). Var mycket nöjd med det tills jag gick in i en glasdörr med kameran på magen. Skickade in det på reparation och efter justering är jag supernöjd. Fin skärpa och stort omfång. Använder det som normalzoom på min 1000D. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   I am not a pro but this lens does every thing you expect it to do. I bought it so I would not have to change lens. I have used it in side and out side with no problem. Some talk of the lens extending on its own but I have not had that happen and don't think it's worth worrying about any way. I have shot into the sun with a lens hood and got very good results.    Length:: 0:20 Mins Excellent lens for my requirements: personal and professional use (I post photos on my Tech WEB page) It added great adaptability to my EOS 550D (T2i)to any situation, now I can travel with less gear and don't need to swap between lenses (reducing risks of dust on the sensor).
