   The Nikon 1 Nikkor 10mm f/2.8 is a good wide-angle prime lens for the Nikon 1 system. Sharpness is very good, with only the extreme borders being somewhat soft, good news given that the 10-30mm is not very sharp at the 10mm wide-angle setting. Due to the size of the sensor the lens has been designed for, diffraction kicks in at around f/8, so the 1 Nikkor 10mm is typically at its best when used wide open - which isn't a bad thing.    I must admit that I was unsure as to the quality of this tiny lens to go with my V1 when I first decided to buy it as I have always used the high quality Nikkor lenses on the pro film and digital cameras I use, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The fast 2.8 gives excellent flexibility in poorer lighting conditions and the lens is sharp. I have done a number of photos with it now and am very pleased with it. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   This is my favorite lens for the V1. It makes the V1 small enough to fit in my jacket pocket (!) and performs amazingly well in low-light. I leave it attached to my camera all the time, and only haul out the zoom lenses for special cases where just moving myself around won't give me the shot I'm looking for.    Opting straight for the Nikon 1 10mm kit, I simply love the new Nikon 1 system form factor that now accompanies me on all my work/photo trip worldwide. Without the need for a special adapter to affix a lens filter, a variety of photo effects can now be easily achieved with this fast prime glass! Awesome match for my Nikon 1 V1!
