   Even if you can purchase a used lens do so. I have a number of Nikon lens with I use on my D-80, D-90 and D-7000. For a general lens that gives you excellent focus and outstanding photos this is the lens. I tested this lens up close, in day light, in darkness, in areas that other lens could not produce the photo that this lens has been able to accomplish.    Har provat detta objektiv ett tag nu med min D90. Tycker det funkar kanon och använder det väldigt mycket. Att det skulle låta för mycket håller jag inte med om. Att det är ljussvagt vet man redan innan man köper det, så kan inte sätta det som minus. Frontlinsen roterar inte. Riktigt bra grepp vid zoom och MF.    Fantastic general use lens. Ideal wide end focal length, and a decent mid-tele focal length. Good zoom range. Overall this is a very solidly made piece of glass. It's zoom ring is, I would say, reassuringly stiff. There is no barrel creep like you get with the 18-200, but you still get the benefit of an active VR system. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   I bought this lens to have better wide angle coverage than my 18-200mm lens. Ken Rockwell thumbs his nose at this lens but I find extra 2 degrees at the wide angle pretty useful. I also considered getting 16-35mm DX lens but couldn't justify paying almost twice as much with shorter range. If you are moving up from the kit lens 18-55mm or 18-105mm (which I also have), this is a good lens to consider over 18-200mm. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
