   This is the Sigma 50-200mm DSLR telephoto zoom lens designed for Nikon cameras with a "Nikon F" mount as well as other compatible cameras. It features a lens aperture of F4-5.6, 4x optical zoom, and a 55mm thread size (which can been changed by using stepping rings if necessary.) The biggest selling point of this lens however is the optical image stabilization and Hypersonic motor - both of which is a surprising but welcome addition to a "budget lens.    I have just got back into photgraphy. I have used this lens mainly on a summer Holidiy in Paris &amp; the South of france and at a few gigs.<br /><br />Great lens for the money, great picture quality, but a little slow for rock gigs, but a fast lens is alot more money.<br /><br />The 5 stars i have given the lens refers to value for money, clearly at this price it's not a Canon L class lens!
