   If you're in the market for a mid-priced intelligent flash, the Speedlite EX430 II definitely deserves a look. It has all the features you're likely to need, and the price is reasonable. The silent operation is nice, and the new locking mechanism is a much needed feature for any flash.    great flash ! even if you have a built in flash this flash is great to redirect light in any direction, makes drastic changes in picture quality, only slow down I had was programming the stand to flash when not attached to the camera. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   Enligt min åsikt så tycker jag att Canon Speedlite 430EX II är en väldigt bra blixt. Ger mycket fint ljus, och går att använda både inomhus och utomhus för att få en bra bild. Det tar inte heller lång tid innan blixten laddar (eftersom den måste göra det), så man snabbt kan ta bilder utan att den blir överhettad eller liknande. Eftersom det är Canons egna märke så tror jag det är därför det är ganska högt pris på den. En Sigma/Dörr blixt med samma funktioner kostar ca. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   Linked with a 600D this flash is brilliant straight out of the box. It produced quality photo's, using bounce, that did not look as though they were shot with a flash indoors, and that was from the off. As soon as it was used off camera (triggered by the camera) brilliant results were produced with only minor tweaking of the flash compensation. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   I used this flash professionally for a couple of years shooting weddings and portraits - quick cycling so it's ready to shoot again shortly after firing (especially with a Quantum battery pack), works great with a Canon 5D and the 5D mk 2, eTTL II was mostly ok and it's got plenty of range for most situations.
