   The answer may be obvious to owners of camera bodies without a built-in flash, but not so clear to those using bodies with a built-in flash. The built-in flash is great for fill flash to light the shaded areas (such as people's eyes) in a pictures. To use fill flash, set your exposure for the ambient light, then dial in -1 to -2 EV FEC (Flash Exposure Compensation).    I have not had the chance to use this flash in all situations where I think I will, but I can say without qualification that it does absolutely everything I expected, and as easily as I had hoped. I have it mated to a Canon Rebel T1i and it works great. Recycle time is very fast and I can shoot at least 5 shots in continuous mode without any delays. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   This is a sturdy, well built flash. It has a lot of useful features and would be a great addition to a hobbyist photographer's artillery. The ability to easily change the angle of the flash and bounce off of ceilings is wonderful. You can get just about any angle you need.    The 430EX II flash is a great adjunct for my Canon Rebel XSi SLR camera. In fact, you can't do flash photography without a separate flash; the flash that is attached to the camera is just too harsh! There is a learning curve to using a separate flash, like knowing where to angle the pivoting head, but it is fun experimenting.    This flashgun wsa widely sold up to about 5 years ago as the 'solid workhorse' of the Canon Speedlite range. Much cheaper than the top-of-the-range 540EZ , it has an excellent Guide Number (GN) of 43 (100 ISO film, in metres) and has a range of up to 20m or so. It comes in a vinyl pouch with clear-easy to understand instructions. It uses 4x AA size batteries, and don't consider using ordinary batteries unless you have a deep bank balance, as they do not last long. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
