   I bought this mainly to do some macro photography and for this subject it is a superb product. Since using it I have also found it to a really good tool for portrait photograhy as well, it is quite a flattering light if used correctly. The model lamps to check shadow details are a real bonus and I am now using on many occassions when I might have used my Canon Speedlites.    • canon ttl metering, reliable in all conditions, uses same batteries as canon speedlites, very fast recycle times
   • No cons I can think of

   I've not had this flash long but in the short period of time I've used it, it's proved to be an extremely versatile macro flash system. It will work at ATTL setting with most of the latest cameras. You can adjust the output between the two lights independently down to 32:1, or even turn one of them off for better modelling.    So far, it's working as advertised. This Flash is the perfect flash for macro photography although you can use it for portraits by fill flash. I prefer this flash compared to the Canon macro ring flash because it offers larger filter size capability, meaning that I can use it with my Canon lenses which have 77mm filter size.    Mycket trevlig konstruktion och bra blixt till macro. Som på alla blixtar behöver man dock någon gång byta blixtrör, det är dyrt vilket drar ner betyget. Ett måste med macroblixt anser jag om man fotar insekter seriöst. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   Doun't buy this if you want those distinctive ring shaped highlights in eyes. This is really two small flashes that overpower the ring shaped diffuser so you get two spots rather than a doughnut catchlight. Worse, you get two distinct shadows behind the subject. On the good side you can freely rotate the unit so the two shadows can be placed where you want them and the up to 8:1 ratio control allws a lot of exposure options. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
