   On the whole this is a great alarm clock for the money. It is just an alarm clock . If you want a radio to listen to music on you will need to spend more money. I tend to listen to the radio in the bedroom while cleaning and have always used my alarm clock for this. I have never found a model under $50 that will get good reception. This one is not different.    Even with the alarm set to radio, there is a definite beep behind the radio sound. It does make me want to get up out of bed and turn it off, which I guess is a good thing (!), though the buttons don't work ever so well - the alarm turns itself back on sometimes. Using the radio whilst just in the room, the off button turns the radio off for a second or two and then it turns on again. But only sometimes. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   Allt verkade bra med denna klocka - lätt att ställa in - bra placering av knappar m.m. Men, den har ett stort fel. När man väljer att bli väckt av radio så hörs även buzzertonen igenom, inte så högt, men på morgonen är öronen väldigt känsliga och i mitt fall vaknade jag av buzzertonen istället för radion. Har pratat med Philips och detta finns med som ett problem på produktens FAQ. Men det finns ingen bra lösning på problemet. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   After constantly overlaying because the alarm on my mobile phone didn't seem to want to work I dececided it was time to invest in a clock radio.    I'm one of those people who spent the last five or so years using their mobile phone as an alarm clock. On several occasions my phones battery ran out during the night and I missed important meetings, mornings at work or just ruined my sleeping pattern. I told myself that I needed to pick myself up an alarm clock for the first time in years. It took me a while of walking around shops to find the Philips AJ3231/05 and I haven't looked back since.    • Great snooze function, ability to plug into your mp3!
   • Radio doesn't sound as good as it should do.
