   The headphones will run for about 15 hours using the built-in rechargeable battery, and there's also a separate battery pack that lets you run them for another ten hours off two AA batteries if the main battery runs out. The slight weakness in the bass output is a little disappointing, but the MDR-NC500D is still a good option for anyone that likes to wallow in music when they're travelling.    First pair lasted a few months until band cracked rendering the unit useless. Sony did replace under a recall. Replacement set lasted 6 months before they broke again.Sound quality was poor as unit had a cracking sound when the seal around the ear was too tight or loose. Unit is not a good travel companion, packaging is bulky. Never again!!!!! Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   I bought these headphones after studying several reviews, the noise canceling is good and effective. Sound is OK with some slight residual white noise produced by the electronics. 20 minutes into a longhaul flight they started making a loud uncomfortable popping noise, so loud that I had to remove the headphones.    This is my first pair of noise cancelling headphones, and thus far I've been very impressed. Last weekend I traveled via two airplanes, the first a jet, the second a turbo-prop and neither of them could compromise the noise cancellation of these headphones. At times it was hard to know I was on an airplane they did such an amazing job cancelling ambient noise.    Köpte dessa lurar på Amsterdam Int.airport, 299:- EURO. Riktigt nöjd med dessa efter ha nyttjat lurarna under ca två veckor. Har bla. genomfört en resa till Rom, brusreduceringen var riktigt behaglig på flygplanet. Lurarna känns proffsiga och ljudet är mycket trivsamt. Ett plus till batterikapaciteten, ca 16h, och räcker inte det är det bara att koppla in det extra batteripaketet som drivs med 2 st vanliga AA/LR6batterier. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
