   I have been using the Samsung SyncMaster with my test system for about two weeks now. Before I get into general usage, I first took a visit to the Lagom LCD Monitor Test Page . Rutledge used this resource before during a monitor review and I decided to see how the Samsung would fare in the same tests. The monitor did pretty well throughout the tests but there were a few areas that it showed weakness. On the gamma test, the 48% test results were off by a good bit. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   This monitor has been good, but a little bright as an extended desktop for my computer. I've been less satisfied with using the monitor as a TV -- sound is less good, volume buttons are hard to use (it's easy to do the wrong thing like change the source), and you can't program a remote control to change volume or turn it on/off.    If you run Windows in this device's native 1920 x 1080 mode, you cannot even see most of the Start button and the task bar. The monitor has a mode that downscales the 1920 x 1080 image to make it fit in the visible area, but that does not really fix the problem. The downscale mode introduces scaling distortion which makes text difficult to read. Furthermore, a little bit of the task bar is still hidden, even in the downscale mode.    • Well manufactured. (but poorly designed) Did not have any bad pixels.
   • Has a serious design flaw - The front bezel hides the edges of the LCD panel, so that the pixels near the edge are not visible. You cannot ever see the pixels at coord...
