   There is a lot to like about the Muse. Format support is excellent, as is the player's ability to handle video above the screens native resolution. The bundled noise cancelling earphones will hold obvious appeal to anyone who regularly uses their music player on a tube train or plane.    This player has amazing sound and music capacity. It also has an excellent picture for video. You rarely have to charge it and it is VERY light to carry with you. The only problem I have run into is actually getting any MP4s that I have loaded on it to actually work without freezing the player and having to reset it.    When I first began reading the reviews for this player, it seemed like it would be a GREAT player. And with reviews that good, you would think Phillips must be doing something right. WRONG! I bought a player over the Christmas holidays, and within about a month and a half of using it, it quit working with a problem of turning on, beginning to load, and then turning off and restarting the cycle.    There is nothing that I don't like about my new Philips music player, but lots that I do. It is slim, light weight, well designed and feels like a high quality product when I hold it. Loading songs and videos onto it is a breeze after owning an ipod for years, you just open up a file browser (works in Linux just as easily as Microsoft) and drag and drop music files and folders into the Music Directory.    tried it in a shop. loved the possibility to preview the content of the selected items. Sometimes I'm not sure what songs are in a playlist and this preview is perfect to select the desired playlist. Also it help when looking for a certain song, but one is not sure of the album. really useful! on the negative side I wish I could just select a playlist, album or genre and press play.
