   I had no problem using this with the latest Ubuntu Linux Release. This is probably due to good software and drivers provided by Microsoft, unlike other brands. Everything worked under Windows and Linux. Windows and Linux will automatically install the driver for you. A system restart is needed in Windows. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   This is a review of the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 800, which consists of a wireless keyboard and mouse. Having broken my previous keyboard (which I do with some regularity unfortunately), I needed a replacement and this was the one which Argos were promoting for 16.99 pounds at the time (although it's back up to 19.99 pounds at the moment) which seemed good value.    • No Caps Lock key and the mouse wheel slightly hard to control

   I made the mistake of reading the instruction sheet enclosed in the package. The battery polarity is shown reversed for the keyboard on the instructions. When the keyboard didn't work, after rebooting the computer just to make sure, I pulled the batteries to see what was wrong. They were hot.    This product is a real value for money, very easy to set up and use just plug and play and its also very responsive especially the mouse and it also comes with duracell batteries which I know would last, its also well designed, the only thing that made me give it 4 stars in ease of use is that the cap lock doesnt say when it on or off but overall its a quality build from microsoft.
