   Pros: Using regularly at a distance of about 15ft with no issues. It just works. Software driver installed on Windows 7 quickly and the included help files and device interfaces are intuitive and useful. Cons: The soft touch keys across the top have a slick surface that is prom to finger prints. Keyboard needs a on/off switch like the mouse.    I bought this keyboard because my Microsoft Wireless 3000 died on me after 4 years of use (Great keyboard by the way). I knew I was taking a risk when I saw how small the function keys were but I thought maybe I could get accustomed to them. Turns out the smallness of the function keys and how far you have to press them is a showstopper for me. I am a software developer and a gamer.    My keyboards tend to live short lives due to the fact that I keep spilling things onto them making their fragile little circuits explode. I have thus had the chance to sample more than my fair share of keyboards from the basic budget model to more expensive models with loads of pointless extras which never get used.    This is a terrific keyboard. The clunkiness due to its oversize and the pointless mouse only shows that MS is not aware of what a great product they would have otherwise.
