   In conclusion, Sonic Generations 3DS is a decent first attempt at making a game for Nintendo’s new platform. Although the developers could have taken advantage of the 3D effects in cutscenes, at least the visuals are great during gameplay, which is more important.    If you are truly a Sonic fan, you will probably love this game. Playing many of the classic levels will bring back childhood memories to all you hedgehog lovers. I'm a little disappointed that modern Sonic doesn’t get a full 3D stage to show the real power of the 3DS. At most, you will get a 45 degree shift to show what’s ahead of you.    It borders on sadomasochism that every time a ‘reinvention’ of Sonic the Hedgehog comes along, everyone falls for it head over heels if only for a little while. “This will be the one, this will be the time that Sonic Team finally get things right and does the series justice.” The delusion’s always fleeting, but when it comes to Dimps ‘ 3DS version of Sonic Generations , there are brief glimpses of joy trapped within another painful dose of disappointment.    This game is great for all ages but can be very challenging to achieve high class status. Its features classic sonic for gamers that grew up in the 90's and new age sonic for the next generation.
