   Every so often, you shoot some aliens. There are no surprises here: these are mostly the same foes and the same guns from Duke Nukem 3D . But the joy of that game's shooting has been flattened.    Duke nukem 3D Jag mins när jag satt som 8 årig pojke i mitt rum och spelade Duke nukem 3D på våran troligen första dator. Undr den tiden så var grafiken ganska så enkel, uppenbart nog. Monstrena och showgirls såg ut att vara "klipp figurer". Spelet var redan då vuxenklassat pga den vuxna omgivningen med showgirls, språket, blodet och monsterna, även om jag som 8 åring inte ens tänkte i dom banorna att ifråga sätta varför tjejerna var lättklädda.    Oh for crying out loud. Released back in 1996, Duke Nukem 3D was a superb FPS, with visuals that were hugely impressive for the time. It relied on the BUILD engine, which allowed for the creation of more realistic environments, as well as the ability to jump and to look up and down, all of which allowed for new and exciting gameplay possibilities that were explored to the full in the game's superbly well-designed levels.    DUKE NUKEM FOREVER is a now-infamous video game that some waited 15 years to play, and this alone is cause for many of the game's bad reviews. I, however, was only six years old when Duke Nukem 3D came out and, even though I played the game all throughout my childhood years (and still love it), I never really waited for a sequel and eventually forgot about it until a year or two ago.    I bought this game for my college-age son who is laid up due to surgery. He is quite the gamer and has every gaming system known to man. Although this game is considered clunky and old-school now, he loved this game when he was young. I did have to get one of my old dinosaur machines with Win98 going so he could play it though.
