   During my time with Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, I found it difficult to think how I would actually open up this review with more words than just screaming excitedly "OMG THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME" in your face while carving through waves of Orks with my chainsword. I can't remember when a game made me giggle with glee due to the visceral combat that was being performed on my screen, like some sort of beautifully choreographed ballet of carnage, I was mesmerised and...    In the end, though, this game is Relic’s first foray into an untapped genre of third-person action shooters (not including The Outfit ) and while they make an impressive effort to please both fans and those unfamiliar of the Warhammer 40K universe, their naivety clearly shows.    That's why I give it 5 stars. Relic has been working on this title for some time now and I feel that the game will be very full. Hours played, etc. If you are to compare Gears of War 3 with this game, you have to realize that that Space Marines is a generation 1 game and Gears is a generation 3 game.    The Good: Gory and satisfying combat, lots of fun weapons to use, great characters, story, and voice acting, multiplayer is fun for awhile The Bad: Same enemies and combat forever, no intense scripted events, can't use the Titan, multiplayer gets boring after awhile, only two modes, gets extremely difficult towards the end The Warhammer series, being an extremely expensive table top game, has grown to be more popular as an RTS game than anything else.    Som ett fan av Warhammer franchisen har jag sett fram emot detta spelet ett bra tag. Det är korrekt i lore, vilket jag älskar, blir sån inlevelse då. När man väl spelar så är spelet mäktigt, du känner dig verkligen som en stor maffig space marine. Single player har inte mycket mer att önska än att det ev. skulle vara längre.
