   Having for years whilst younger loved playing at friends houses on their Sega and Nintendo consoles I looked forward to the time when I was old enough to pay for one of my own (my parents did not believe in having these as they felt they were a waste of money) and when the time came it was the Nintendo Gamecube which was just being released.    When the Gamecube first came out, I didn't really think much of it..... with that Purple colour that was getting most the limelight not even being an Ultra cool iMac style see through plastic kind, which I reckon makes it now look a bit prematurely dated compared even the other colours it's available in (like black, for instance... which apparently was also available when launched, but the Purple one seemed to get pictured more).    • Fits nicely on top of my PS2, Games last ages, legendary game characters (Super Mario, Zelda, etc)
   • Nearly everyone's quit stocking games for it

   Can your slim PS2 function as a monitor stand? No! See, the GameCube has many post-mortem uses! :P http://twitpic.com/501cz9 (mine isn't dead, it still runs, but it's handier here :P) It was an awesome console, and if only Nintendo had built across instead of up, it could have had CD and DVD...    a great game system, especially if you are on a budget. almost everything is great on this systen, including its small size, pretty good graphics, fun games, controllers feel good when held, small game disks and memory cards, a totally portable system, and so much more!! there arent really any cons to this system, unless you want to play dvd's and cd's on this system. other than that, this system is perfect!!    • small size and small game disks, handle for carrying, easy to use, fun games, not very expensive, controller feels good in hand, ect!!
   • non that i can really think of!!

   This was the first console that I ever bought excluding the handheld Gameboy Advance SP. I have only ever purchased Nintendo consoles and have not been disappointed yet. Nintendo products have a certain magic to them, and the Gamecube is no different. I picked up this amazing console for just £25 at my local Game store. I wasnt expecting much from this little cube, considering its age and upcoming rivals such as the PS3 and the XBOX 360. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
