I have worked in the field of Image and Video Processing for almost 10 years now and know what good or bad quality image is. When many of my friends say oh good quality of picture, I am like no, there's a dead pixel, there's inaccurate color reproduction, the blacks are not black enough, the colors are too warm, basically I am a stickler for image quality :) I must say this Sony TV has really impressed me. Sound quality could be much better although I will be connected to a home theaer system shortly. Not that I needed them but I thought it was VERY odd that the tv didn't come with ANY connection cables - no HDMI, no component, no RCA. I'm not looking for Sony to include Monster-caliber cables but SOMETHING should have been included. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

- No cables included, Sound could be better
First Sony but won't be my last.

- Crisp clear picture - the best I have seen in this class. Fantastic contrast. Easy to navigate setup, etc. Works nicely with other Sony items, such as the DVD player I...
- A bit slow starting, although I notice that many LCD TVs seem to suffer this problem. Also slow in navigation from channel to channel - makes surfing a bit slow.

I am pleased with the quality and performance of this set. It was easy to set up, with good instruction provided. I am not big on the idea of using the internet to register the product with Sony.
