   • Not for enthusiasts; only one fan; non-removable side and top panel; not very quiet.

   The Sonata Elite retains the stylish appearance and solid construction of the Sonata III. However, many of the things Antec changed hasn't necessary made the Elite better. Moving the vents to the right side of the case might actually have made ventilation worse, making it harder for airflow to reach the components on the motherboard. The fact that Antec includes a side fan option seems to suggest they know airflow might be a problem for the Elite. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   The Antec Sonata Elite is rather striking in its subdued aesthetics that would suit just about any preference or personal taste, and would fit into just about any office or home setting. Antec has done a fine job of keeping the styling neutral without becoming boring. From a functional standpoint, the Sonata Elite offers quiet operation when the two fans are set at the low setting, but they can be heard just like any other case when they are set to high.    I've had this case installed for a few days now and I'm impressed. It is very quiet, with good acoustics and only one fan, which at normal speed is not very audible. But even with that one fan, it cools well. The only drawback is there is a dead spot (airflow wise) around the hard drive cages. Your HDD won't burn up, don't get me wrong, but it does run a little warmer than the rest of the components. A front fan or back PCI exhaust would remedy this if so needed.    Mycket trevligt chassi av lite enklare modell, bra att nätdel inte ingår så man är fri att välja själv. Inga problem med "clearance" för en Noctua NH-U12P CPU kylare. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   This case is fantastic, its easy to install hardware, it looks great, protects the drives, and even has an air filter in the front to make sure your case is getting nice clean air. Two places to add fans makes cooling the system that much easier. The hard drive trays are a nice touch as well. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi
