   The portability, backup and huge space expansion are great. Internet recovery takes so long. Only problem so far is backup backs up system files, making it excessively busy - hard to customize basic (free) backup. Lue Lisää Translate to suomi

   The Seagate external hard drive works great! I love that it's compact size and the large amount of storage space. And I'll be able to purchase the USB 3 port cord as they are used more widely.    As a digital illustrator I generate massive amounts of graphic files. I cannot afford to discard the preliminary sketches and various versions in case I need to revise something for a client at a later time. My graphic files are large and threatened to overwhelm the memory and storage on my computer. The seagate external drive is just what I needed to keep my files in order and close at hand.    I used the USB/Firewire cable which came along with the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 500 GB on the other Seagate FreeAgent Portable HD and it works fine, but when connected back, doesn't detect it. The online forum suggest restarting the windows, which is ridiculous. If I have to reboot every time I connect the drive, it is sheer waste of time.    • The drive is compact and can fit in your shirt pocket. Also the price was very attractive for 500 GB.
   • Drive doesn't detect on Windows 7 explorer.
