   A functional trio of camcorders, the Panasonic HDC-SD80, TM80, and HS80 are notable for their manual exposure controls, unusual for their price class, and well designed touch-screen interface but otherwise you can find better options.    The first camcorder I received had a big problem with its internals. It made an awful whirring noise while recording, which was picked up on the recordings. With Amazons easy return policy, I sent it back a few days after receiving it. Amazon promptly sent a new Panasonic camcorder. I have not had any problems with this one. It takes very good video.    Smidig och snygg kamera som känns välbyggd, och touch-skärmen är helt ok. Den optiska zoomen är bra, men hade velat ha en större vidvinkel. Hade kunnat nöja mig med 25x zoom. Spaken för zoomen är klockren, man kan zooma väldigt långsamt eller snabbt om man vill det och ytan för tummen är räfflad så man glider inte av den.    Greater value at the reduced price whilst launching the replacements model but I hope the new model has eliminated what I consider the one remaining poor quality feature. The lens is still a vital part of the camera & not to have automatic closure of the cover, looses that 5th. star. ONE careless moment is all that's needed to do permanent damage.
