   Panasonic's trio of prosumer camcorders, the hard-disk-based HDC-HS900 and flash-based TM900 and SD800, deliver generally excellent video quality and provide the full set of manual controls and features advanced users want. But you have to be willing to baby the white balance a bit. The TM900 is my top pick of the three for its EVF, but if you're on a tight budget the SD800 should suit just fine.    • Wonky white balance and lack of a built-in neutral density filter are the two biggest drawbacks of an otherwise very good series of prosumer camcorders.

   Very good camcorder because 3 MOS CCD and Panasonic technology. If you have a lot fo money HDC TM900 is better in term of sound quality (5.1 instead of 2.1) and other things but TM900 has strictly the same image quality at a higher price !!    Varning för riktigt urusel support och mjukvara: Går inte att föra över filmer till dator med medföljande program HD AE 3.0. Får felmed om att jag måste höja skärmupplösning vilket redan är på max (1920). Ringde därför Panasonics "support". Han sa direkt att min dator var för gammal (nästan ny Sony Vaio med HD-skärm etc), whats it... Jag ville då testa på en annan ändå nyare laptop som tyvärr inte har CD-läsare (prgramvaran är på CD).    I bought a Panasonic SD800 camcorder + 16GB SD memory card. The camera is excellent the only weak point is the battery. The recordable time of the supplied battery (VW-VBN130) is only 1h 20min...but I can forget the short recordable time when I watch my recording. Professional quality for acceptable price.    I bought this cam for the ester vaccation. The cam is really handy and well designed. For the performance, the quality of the video is really nice, however, the photos are not as good as DSLR, of couse. The price is really resonable.
